A young man and an older teen wander along the beach, a brown dragonet trailing the teen. A blue firelizard flies ahead of them, twirling, dipping, and zig-zagging for the pure pleasure of it.

The firelizard, preceding them by several hundred yards, comes over a dune far ahead of the humans and spots the nest. Trilling happily, he circles the nest at a respectful distance, transmitting the image to his human.

"T'gan? Raz says he found a gold nest. Want to check it out?" The teen looks up at his companion, who nods eagerly. The young dragonrider breaks into a run, Ulyssanth keeping pace easily.

As D'minic and Ulyssanth reach the nest, the teen holds out an arm, and Raz trills once more before landing on the extended limb. Pulling his arm in, D'minic bows to the golden firelizard. "Lovely queen, could I have the pleasure of the company of one or two of your children?"

Ulyssanth leans forward, watching the tiny queen with undisguised curiousity. ~What a beautiful little creature!~ he exclaims with amazed pleasure. ~I've never seen one of your color so close,~ he confides directly to the queen.

T'gan arrives a few minutes later, a slightly unhappy-looking green perched on his shoulder. The bronzerider gives Saki a respectful bow, and a friendly nod is directed toward the little queen's Impressed. His words, though, are for Saki alone. "Little mother, may I compliment you on your fine clutch? And, if at all possible, request an egg for myself, and perhaps even another for my sister? She's been tending my three, an onerous task if Tresta's report on the rest of them are true," he smiles wryly as the green gives an exasperated chirp of confirmation, "and I can assure you she adores firelizards as much as I do."
