Subject: *A second, far larger, egg begins to rock vigorously, as though inspired by its clutchmate's precedence.*

*The mottled shell doesn't appear to crack for a moment, instead throwing up spurts of sand around it as it wriggles. Then, its occupant decides to make its entrance, and the shell neatly cracks in two. Out steps a sturdy bronze, large for his color, and plainly one of the best. Kylith croons oddly to her son, and he replies in a hungry creel, before swiveling his wedge-shaped head to scan the Hatching Grounds. Seeing the green hatchling alone, near a group of people, draws him nearer, almost meandering, though his intermittent cries prove him to be hungry and impatient, as are most dragonets'. Then, his faceted gaze settles on Alarak, and he suddenly shoves forward, past anyone standing between him and the boy. A'rak! I am Kadoth! Feed me now, for you Impress me! His eyes whirl slower and his voice takes on a loving tone as he croons, head-butting A'rak's hand forcefully.*
