Subject: She has eyes only for the sands

It had happened again, the sharp instant of Impression. Each time it did, the jolt of the impact made her eyes water with a certain tang of sadness and joy. The looks the new dragonets gave their lifemates sends shivers up her spine. When Channa Impressed, and her dragon looked at her....it was like at that instant they knew they would love each other, no matter what. Forever. It was almost scary, she thinks, the way they chose and affirmed so quickly.

And now the number of eggs was dwindling, but there was still an abundance of them to be had. It made her tremble all over again. Her younger brother's friend had found her blue, and Kylith was warbling like the proudest mother ever placed upon the Hatching sands.

Which she is...if I had that clutch, I'd be bugling too. That thought sends her into a subdued bout of giggles again and she smiles tenderly in welcome to the new arrivals that color the sands by the minute as they seek their futures.
