**The tall man, tanned from days in the warm Igen sun and limber from exercise, enters the Weyr. His tunic of brown is plain except for the dragon symbol on his shoulder signifying his rank. He lightly touches the mind of his bronze, Zioth- the big dragon is asleep in the sun. A weary smile crosses his face, and he sinks into a chair. He lets his eyes half-close, and rests.**
