Subject: Hatching Feast!

*A horde of drudges scurry in, setting up long, cloth-covered tables and comfortable benches, as well as chairs for WingLeaders and the Weyrwoman and 'Leader. Small pots, filled with meat scraps, are set at various places on each table for those riders with hungry flits, each pot enough to feed one flit to the utmost. Setting up a temporary 'oven', the cooks keep the various foods warm, and on one noticeably huge table, they've set up something of a buffet line, where each rider can fill their plate of the delectable foods prepared. Included are meatrolls, fishrolls, salted fish, dried jerkey, various imported cheeses, the universal klah, a limited amount of wine, Benden white, a heaping amount of bubbly pies, meaty and vegetable stews, and other soups. Fresh bread has been baked and fresh fruit also supplied by a few kind Dolphineers down at Southern. This looks to be a feast of the best kind, for both new and old riders!*
