S'sha, awake. A Benden rider calls for you at the Barracks. *S'sha moans.* It's not even light out yet! *Her queen sends her a reproving touch, and with a muted protest the girl hauls herself out of her warm, comforting, soft bed.* Ugh. Kylith, do I have to? *She asks, sounding like a child. Yes, you must. It is urgent. Her queen's gentle tone belies any urgency, but S'sha flings on a fresh tunic and beats her hair in place. After brushing her teeth with a mint stick and dunking her face and arms in cold water, she takes a deep breath. With a wry grin and the sun just beginning to rise, she slips out to the Barracks.*
