Subject: This does not mean that the titleholders have done anything wrong. Quite the opposite in fact; they put down their hard earned money in good faith to be a part of something that -sounded- good. I just wonder about the director, administrator, and/or founder of this pageant system - wondering why this pageant 's "brand" is left intentionally hazy around the edges which in turn makes it sound even more impressive to the inexperienced be unsavvy of the pageant world. And by the way, these are legitimate questions that anyone should have and be free to ask before they part with several thousand dollars to be a part of this "experience". Entry fees, ads in the program book that isn't printed, hotel stay that's not included in your entry fee, meals, pageant wardrobe, hair and makeup "fees" (even "tips"), goodie bags to exchange with fellow contestants, tickets to the pageant, etc etc etc.
In reply to: Casual Observer 's message, "What I've always wanted to know is ... What does the MISS USA/MISS UNIVERSE organization think of this (pageant)? It's not hard time find photos and posts on social media where the titleholders and their respective sashes refer to them as "Mrs. USA", "Mrs. Universe", etc. Thise who are t as pageant-savvy are led to believe that this pageant is the married counterpart of the better known Miss USA, Teen USA, and Miss Universe pageants. On paper I see that this director calls it "US Universal" to stay out of hot water with Miss Universe Org. BUT the banners read otherwise, right up through the 2015 titleholders. Even some 2016 state reps are calling themselves "Mrs. (State) USA" and "Mrs. (Country) Universe"." on 16:48:48 04/03/16 Sun

>>Mrs. US Universal is one of those pageants where it is
>>clear from the time you arrive, the Director, Victoria
>>Hughes believes it is all about HER. We were all
>>starving, and the hotel room situation was just
>>ridiculous. SO next year she is going to women
>>compete from all around the world, AND
>>NOT FEED THEM.....so embarrassing to have our country
>>represented by this pageant.
