Ok, you are a complete idiot. What do you think they feed animals at factory farms? Wheat. So if you eat meat, you are contributing to 3 types of deaths: The animal killed for meat, the animals (accidentially) killed to make the grain that fed the animal raised for meat, and other whaet (such as a loaf of bread). Vegans only contribute to one- other wheat. While it is true that some animals will still be killed on a vegan diet, it is MUCH less than would be killed on a meat-eating diet. I went on your website and also saw you mentioned that if we really cared about animals, we would grow our own wheat and soy. But you know what? I CAN'T grow my own wheat and soy, and I'm sure 99% of most other Americans can't either. My backyard isn't suitable for farming, and even if it was, what would I eat between harvesting season? By being a vegan I am not completely eliminating ALL suffering for food, but I am reducing it by about 66%! So next time THINK before you rant- because people who rant about something that's not true (in your case, meat-eating diets causing less overall deaths), because if you rant about something false, you'll make a fool of yourself.
