She looked at the other eggs, somehom knowing they probably both weren't green. If one by chance is, she thought, let my friend get her, for she truely deserves the greatest gold on Pern. "Yes, the one for each of us is not here. It may be in the next clutch, though." She couldn't really talk with enthusiasm, for her eyes watered painfully with all that had happened being recalled. But, she needed that, as her friend had known, a truely great healer, she was. They'd go to the beach, where they would check nests until they both had the flit they wanted, for there had to be enough for her and Cat there! Then, she wondred... "Do you have any fire lizards? I don't, but, we can get some at the beach, as soon as these two hatch." She managed a small smile, like a child who had been hurt seriously in a fight but in the end came out victorious. It was a big deal for her, for she hadn't truely smiled like this since the day her brother died... Yes, she finally had her very own friend that would never leave her forshaken at the sands, alone to suffer. She knew her destiny was to live, and Cat showed her that it wouldn't be a life alone.
