Subject: ConflictingEmotions

Vivian had heard that there was a green having trouble on the Hatching Grounds, so she walked there quickly. Her little green fire lizard, who she had named 'Jewel', was sleeping comfortably in Vivian's arms. The black haired girl. was dressed in her favorite full-length boots, coal black breeches, and red short sleeved shirt. She stared at the large white object next the the green...Grenith was her name.
A clutching green? How can that be? Greens don't clutch, they are rendered sterile by firestone. What the-?

Jewel mumbled a chirp as she woke slowly to her Impressed's conflicting emotions. Vivian stroked the small green's miniscule headknob, and offered her some scraps of jerked meat left over from when she Impressed.

Greyi circled in, and landed on Vivian's left fist. In his beak was one of the small rodents that had always annoyed Vivian.
"That's a good boy, Greyi. Go, eat that elsewhere."
She tossed him off of her wrist, and sent him flapping off to find a tree to feast on his prize. Maybe he would find a nice female to share it with.

With Greyi flapping for the skybrooms that she could see from the Grounds, and Jewel settling down again, she turned her mind back to the problem at hand.
She throught How is this possible? I mean, honestly, green firelizards clutch, that's where I got Jewel. But a green dragon? Please!

Vivian knew she was a candidate, but she had never thought that she would stand for a green's clutch!
