Kirisia sat down in a corner, nibbling on a small meatroll she had snitched from the kitchen. She made herself eat slowly, because she didn't want her stomach to rumble later on. A tiny bubbly pie was next. She ate that a little more quickly, managing not to get juice all over herself. One of the eggs in her pouch, the tiny one, rocked. It wasn't hatching yet, though. Kirasia wiped her hands on her tunic, and her feet took her walking to where the normal peeople slept.
