Gisella isn't trying to eavesdrop. The flight really isn't her concern; she's more worried about the Hatching, when she'll probably be sorting out flustered Candidates who can't find robes that fit, and the Feast afterwards, for which she's already starting preparations. But like many women who have let passed childbearing age without finding a lover, the Headwoman is something of a romantic, and her brief pause at a nearby table to rest becomes a longer occupancy as she finds herself drawn into W'ren's tale. When the brownrider finishes, and he and his companion depart, she sits for a long minute, apparently lost in her own thoughts. They're a bit of a jumble, regret at her own lost chances mixed with sympathy for the bronzerider W'ren had been speaking about. Her eyes drift towards the entrance to the Caverns upon hearing a deep bugle in the distance, but the flight is too far for her somewhat foggy sight to catch even from a distance. Then she shakes herself out of her reverie and rises, looking around to make sure everything's going smoothly and checking in with Ren and Tev, her miniature supervisors. Romantic tales aside, there's work to be done, and it won't do for the Headwoman to be seen sitting around mooning over dragonriders' affairs.
