erm, I see some confusion of the rabies factor

There are two types of rabies, stagger and the other one is the one everyone is used to.

Stagger- the wolf staggers around and trips a lot (like they are drunk sort of) but doesn't attack anyone. They die from the disease.

The other one- the wolf's mouth foams and they attack at the other wolves. The disease is carried if skin was broken and the saliva entered.

~The wolf will be different. But it takes days or weeks before they actually start to attack. Not right after they bite.

~The wolf will most likely not kill themselves. Wolves aren't inclined to suicidal missions.

~Stagger wolves will just walk around drunk. Their mouth will foam but noone's in danger from them, except themselves.
