For the first time a voice.. or many voices.. was heard. One at a time a voice would speak. "Foolish creatures." Now a voice from the opposite side of the creatures spoke. "Do you think you are stronger than I?" another voice from another corner, "We are one in the same." and again, a different voice from a different shadow, making the heads of the listeners turn in order to look in the direction of the speaking voices. "I am powerful." another voice, "I am unfearful." another... "I am... undefeatable." The voices surrounded the creatures within the tt. They could not be seen, and therefore could not be attacked. An acorn fell from a tree nearby, the only noise to be heard.
