He ran into his land, and stopped, abruptly. He wore a smile on his face. "She's dead." They all knew what and who he spoke of. There was no need for any explaination. He gave a loud howl, like vulcher over their prey. Diavolo knew then, that he had made the right choice for alpha. After all, it was Aphrodite who had killed Ice. He stopped his howling, and turned to his mate. He suddenly became a puppy. "you've done it! i knew you were the one all along. Did you really think i would chose anyone but you?! i love you, aphrodite." he was jumpy, and wagged his tail, but suddenly stopped, with only a faint smile as he said these last words. he looked at her, and finally pryed his eyes away from her to look at his son. "My son, this is Aphrodite, alpha female. you are now beta, along with Angel. Black Magic and Reya are gamma. Welcome back my son. You've done well, and deserve a reward." Diavolo went into the den, and returned minutes later with a rabbit. "Go now. Eat well, and meet your mate." he looked breifly at Angel. She still looked upset, but he couldnt understand why. Diavolo turned and headed back into the den. On his way he watched Aphrodite, a slight smile on his lips, he then turned and trotted into the den, where he lied down.
