*Knowing the female was strong and determined, she knew that in her condition, she wouldn't last.

She was pregnant with Diavolo's pups.

They're first coupling had inpregnated her, and she knew it. She didn't want to fight in the first place, and it made it even worse knowing she was pregnant.

She looks at the female, and sees the evil glare in her eyes. She looks to Diavolo, and she didn't want to seem weak. Of all things, that is the least thing she wanted, but she also knew that she carried Diavolo's pups, and she didn't want them harmed.

She saw the way he looked at the new female, and she hated it. They had so much in common, and the new female was much more vicious than Aphrodite.

Of all these thoughts she still clung fast to what Diavolo had told her before they mated. He was a vicious blood thirsty killer, with the heart for one wolf only; The one he loved. She saw that in his eyes, and he said he loved her, and he did. Aphrodite clung to this memory and prayed that it was true, because she loved him.
