The answer was always the same,no! I was told I had to wear them and to get used to them.I knew I was different from others,even the way I was dressed was different. Like I said earlier they were also used for punishment. As I was on the large side I thought the nappies were not so noticeable,but they were very bulky when wet. I always felt humiliated having to wear them and still do to this day. I had few friends as nanny preferred me to mix with people she knew. The friends I did have knew about my nappies and of course I was made fun out of.May be they were not real friends.
