It is may 2016 and summer will soon upon us. If mothers want their sons to have an opportunity to express their feminine side this is the season. This is the season to buy them dresses and skirts. I know they cannot play baseball so dressed in little league but other times is fine. The wedge that has been driven between the genders needs to be addressed. For instance girls are told to take care of babies and given dolls to teach them how to be mothers yet boys are NOT taught how to be fathers. Skirts and tunics were originally male garments. Tunics are dresses made for males as defined by WEBSTER'S NEW WORLD DICTIONARY. A Tunic is a dress - nothing else. The roman legions fought wars wearing skirts (seen in most paintings depicting the era.
So this is the 21st century and we must remove these wedges, it will be hard but can be accomplished. Women run and control most families, not the government or the schools. The only time boys can wear dresses or skirts to school is when it benefits the schools, ie womanless pageants, so they can raise money. There is NO reason a boy cannot wear a dress or skirt to school.
