I know that sounds mad - for most people having to wear a nappy at all would be the worst bit. But for me it was always the powder. It was usually a disposable nappy that my step mother used on me, or sometimes a pair of pull-ups. To be honest, although the whole act of having my nappy put on was embarrassing, once it was on it was actually quite hard to tell I was wearing one once I had my shorts on. But I found being sprinkled with baby powder (and it was always baby powder she used, never just regular talc) almost unbearably humiliating.
