Subject: Sandrine Rousseau

You maybe have seen my tweets/posts on fb abt a ''Sandrine Rousseau''. She went in a famous tv show here in France to share her lifestory(she wrote a book abt it) about her sexual abuse by a politic (who also abused several other women). The (wkly) show is recorded and cut(vry long show. Arnd 5hrs before the cut then on tv:arnd 3hrs) in the middle of the week and shown on tv each satuday/sunday night. Middle of the wk we have learnt that a part of Sandrine interview was cut because during the interview, 1 of the chroniclers of the show went furious and left the show (then went back) and cried backstage. In the show there's the boss and 2chroniclers(not caring ones) who are btw: 1 Survivor of incest(the woman) and the man: Survivor, beaten during his childhood. During the interview Sandrine Rousseau found the courage and strength to share her lifestory (which is already a Victory, because we know as Survivors the efforts needed to break silence and then to talk abt it in public), she did it well then the man chronicler said her he wanted to ''see the sexual assault'' in the book, like a so dirty perv'. Then the woman chronicler went furious hystericly, scornful and said painful stuffs while talking about Sandrine Rousseau's book and pushed SR overcrossing her limits (SR starting to shed tears). It was so humiliating and violent and painful to watch it, seeing SR living a 2nd assault and by2 other Survivors. The boss of the show didnt react. Also shocking to know that the team of the show (which since that moment i decided to boycott) thought to cut the part when the chronicler left the show but have kept the part when SR was shedding tears.

More than 24hrs since this the interview and i still have this violent punch in stomach and wanna throw up feeling. We live in a world where the victim/Survivor is still blamed+this subject still is a taboo and so rare in media. IMHO i think the 2 chroniclers are jealous of SR strength and courage, and i think they shld do again some therapy to heal their wounds. Where is Humanity and compassion? It's beautiful tho to see that even after this so painful moment (for us viewers of the show, i can't imagine the so deep pain for SR) Sandrine Rousseau still finds the strength to keep talking abt awareness abt abuses, to help other victims/Survivors she does her org ''Parler'' (same word used as title of her book) which means: talk.
Respect, Bravo and Thanks to Sandrine Rousseau.
