She is very understanding of them.

We based our paddles on the paddle sizes at the Christian school and compared to most paddles they are smaller but work better. My grands get spanked at home with same size paddles. We found more lighter licks the lengthen a spanking has a longer lesson most kids would rather have less but harder licks and get it over with and with a smaller paddle you can target specific areas. The sit down spots are favorites when spanking.

You have a wise daughter. Lighter licks can add up quick, epecially when they all land on the same two sit down spots. A good friend used to joke that they should be called the "Can't sit down spots!"

Every kid just wants it over with, so a longer spanking is going to be much more educational so long as it is still safe.
