Enjoy the reads! Except for mine, my stories are crap.

Right, now, Next month, July is a certainty, August, a maybe.

I need at least four stories for next month, and another four the month after that, to fill both volumes. If I don't fill July, I'll back-fill from August. If I can't fill August in August, it'll release in September.

I warned you things will get screwy.

After the July volume, if I get more than the minimum needed, the chances of the August volume being released on time will be improved.

There will be a natural uptick from maybe November this year to February next year, but it won't last long. We're in what I call the mid-year slump, and given the way things are, it's going to be a long one.

There is also author fatigue, everyone gets tired, authors are no different. We all love it when they're on fire, releasing new work in a matter of days, or weeks between, but it can't last forever, and they burn out. And I know burnout really well.

And of course, nobody is under obligation, so we get what we get when we get it. Am I'm grateful for that, it keeps the series going. Though as I've said, we are at a point where things will falter. Things won't stop, but they will slow down, and I've done all I can.

One bright point in all of this is, being June, I should update the NSC story database. We should be getting close to the 2000th story by now. And we're four volumes away from NSC 150. Two events that at least I'm looking forward to. Okay I just checked. July. Next month's volume. If I wasn't so tired right now, I'd be excited.
