Subject: Well that was weird

Everything is fine.

When I left this morning, everything was okay.

When I got back this afternoon, half the house was down. Lights worked, no power. Circuit breaker kept tripping.

Unplugged everything. Checked for heat or strange smells in the switchbox

Called a neighbour, he came around this evening, we did some quick checks, flipped the circuit breaker back on, and it stayed on.

We had the breakers refreshed a couple of years ago.

I've only ever heard of the things failing due to age, or overloading. And I'm really careful with power management.

Full service has been restored. Bloody weird though.

Only problem is, I ate all the food that could have gone off, and drank all the milk.

No milk for tea!

But I'm back online. Black tea and all.

Nick
