Subject: Volume 149 in three days, one story needed to make it a volume of new fiction

Wow, how'd that happen?

I dunno, but I'm glad it did.

I honestly thought it would be half filler.

Right now, 150 has four empty slots. Three if I have to move the last filler story out of 149. And to think I'd be worried about it filling. My predictions with this stuff have always been off, usually by a lot.

I'm glad people are still writing, even if it comes from Reddit. Some of those authors really need to . . .

Now I'm worried about 151.

October, 150, is Halloween month, so if anyone has anything spooky in mind, best get busy. I know there is one horror-themed story being worked on, hopefully the final chapter will drop before the volume does.

And if we get lucky and 152 drops in December, hopefully we get some Christmas-themed stuff. That'd be cool.

And then it'll be 2026, and I get to stress all over again. Yay . . .
