Dunno what's going on with that weird text, it's nothing I've done on my end, it just started appearing a few months ago, maybe something Voy did on the back end, dunno.
I guess I'm not an editor either. I just call myself that, I do make edits though, formatting text, correcting spelling errors, fixing punctuation that jumps out at me, making things presentable. I'm not fond of making edits either, but it amazes me the number of people who still don't know haw to write properly, granted there are few if any professionals here, and that's fine, I'm grateful people make the effort. What I really hate in the broader sense is revisionism, never trust anyone who updates Shakespeare for the kids.
And I completely agree with you regarding fakes, people who say they're up to the task, but aren't. I've struck those people too, sometimes I've wanted to actually do that, put self-proclaimed 'experts' in their place, but society frowns on actual violence. So words have to be enough.
Anyway my friend, I'm looking forward to having a good read, since I'm not in any condition to do much else.
