I asked the Author about attribution on the stories, as I was interested in collecting them at the time, he came back saying that if the stories didn't have an author noted, they were written by him, but went on to say I could identify him in the series as Leo.

Now, since the stories appear to have been AI-generated, I have no interest in them.

As you've probably seen, the site makes no mention of AI being used. And the apparent proliferation of new content there is such a disappointment. Sadly, legitimate authors may have stories posted there at some point. I don't have the inclination to check them out if it ever happens, and I wouldn't expect anyone else to.

We should be in the peak period for new fiction, but there's been hardly anything new. I get that people may have a lot going on, but could AI be killing the genre?

If things keep going this way, I may fill the volume toward the end of the year. But I'll have to second-guess any author I'm not familiar with.

Nick
