Subject: New Smoke City - Volume 123 RELEASED! (and it's awful)

Folks,

Apologies for my absence, I think I needed what they'd call a mental health break.

I'me not back yet, not quite, but I do owe you a volume of NSC.

Thing is, it's got some of the worst and most perverse writing I have ever seen, so you might want to read the first two stories, and leave it at that. If you're bold enough and strong enough of stomach, or there is an author in there you actually like, go nuts. Just don't yell at me if you get offended. And trust me, this one is bound to upset some people. It made me want to vomit out of my eyeballs.

As most of you already know, I use a random number generator to pick stories from the filler pool, so it's pot luck as to what I get, and what I let through, and the picks this time, a lot of them got deleted, unfit to be read, in the end, rather than continuing to delete garbage, and stuff that should never have been written, I let a few pass, most of which, again, should never have been written in the first place, the authors should be placed on a watch list in most cases. So plenty of examples of what to NOT write.

So if you read past the first two, don't say I didn't warn you. Dark Minds go to Dark Places in this one, that's all I'm going to say.

I'll TRY and get 124 out on time, but no promises.

There is scant enough content for this next volume, and I might have to get out the weed killer and tip it into the filler pool if 123 is anything to go by. I have just over 11 volumes of filler left, so next year probably, I'm done. There may be future volumes after that, if I can find, or people send me stuff worth preserving, but who knows, if it happens, some of the stories may be months old, as the arse seems to have dropped off the fiction community. After that, who knows, it won't be my problem any more, and I want to get back into my hobbies, and the piles of unread books I have waiting. I need a break, and a month isn't enough.

I want my life back. But I intend to see this through first.
