Folks,

You know things are bad when it's all filler.

I just couldn't find anything new and decent, that said, I may have missed something.

Which is why you have to point stuff out to me, I'm still getting back into the swing of things, so help me out yeah?

It's another mixed bag this time, and yeah I know it's late, but there are some good stories in there, by some well known authors, so it's not really a loss.

And it's big, well over 400 pages, there are some long-form stories in there.

Anywho, the thing!

That's a thing too, last filler story count was a little off, it's not the 110+ count that I thought it was. The actual count is 91. I do check the pool every few months, but must have forgotten to update the story count. Sorry about that. I'm down to three Author folders too, Author Unknown (because some people don't put their name to things, usually because the stories are awful), Listenmanuk, and Smokedawg. So filler in future volumes will have a lot of those authors.

I do have some good news. I got an email from Joe Baltes, the artist behind the cover art on Volume 53. Go download the volume, follow the link in the foreword and buy Joe's art, buy me Joe's art, I'm just a poor starving editor you know.

Ahem, anyway, Joe contacted me yesterday, and he's starting a huge project that's been on his mind for ages: reconstructing the FCSL. I know right, huge. I sucked the site down years ago, so I plan on helping out. Sooooo, it would be fantastic, if we all pitched in and helped the gent out as well. I've tried reconstructions on a few occasions, and the results haven't been much good. It's a massive project for one man, far larger than my initial reconstruction of Smoking by Denise, which I admit I'm still quite proud of, seeing how it turned out. Even flagging a few false entries, or compiling notes for new ones would help kick things off. So if anyone wants to put in some time and effort, it would certainly be appreciated.

I'm hoping Volume 125 won't end up like 124, or 123. Still sorry about 123.

I need a cup of tea.
