Subject: Change to the CIDA Championships Schedule

We have made a change to what was previously posted as a Tentative Schedule for our CIDA Championships. A few things contributed to this decision. Please take note of the Open Champs. They will start at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, run oldest to youngest, and dance 2 at a time. We apologize for any inconvenience!

Tentative Schedule:

Saturday a.m.
U12 Grades
U12 Treble Reel and Reel Specials

Open Champs – Will start at 8:00 a.m. ~ Oldest to Youngest ~ Dancing 2 at a Time

Saturday p.m.
Preliminary Championships – All Ages – 2 rounds
Preliminary Championships – Reel Specials
Girls Open Championship Reel Specials
Girls Open Championship Countess Kathleen Slip Jig Special
Open Championship Blind Treble Reel Special
Boys Championship Reel Special
Maureen Hall Champion of Champions Special

Sunday a.m.
Teams – 4 hands and 8 hands – Get Ready for WRO with U8, U10, U12, U15, and 15&O
Preliminary Championships – All Ages – 3 rounds
Preliminary Championships – Treble Reel Specials
Sunday p.m.
U13&O Grades
U13&O Reel and Treble Reel Specials
Adults
Adult Reel and Treble Reel Specials
All Future Champ Specials (all ages) – 2 rounds, 48 bars


Sashes for Top 3 in all Champs and Specials competitions ~ Perpetual Trophies for all Open Championship Solo Competitions ~ Champion of Champions Perpetual Trophy


Awards for the Championships and Specials competitions will be awarded on a
separate awards stage throughout the day as results are completed.
