Brian,

Yes, BBG is Big Grip Golf. The golf pride were to soft for me and you would have to build the diameter up with tape to get the size that I think you want with the single axis method. The Big Grip Golf Grips only require one wrapping with regular two face grip tape. Another thing I like about them is there's nothing to line up just apply the tape and slip on the grip.
