Unfortunately my season is short and I have to get my fill of golf while I'm able. Established bookings are usually met regardless of the possibility of rain and we are pressured to gamble if the majority wants to go. I usually get caught several times in a season in anywhere from a drizzle to a lightning storm.

The taper or non tapered grip issue is a personal preference one can only achieve through trial and error. ... trencher


BTW for those that do get caught on occasion a 'shammy' or a 10 inch length of elastoplast bandage (4" wide) wrapped around the grip will prevent slippage or accidents. I know it's illegal in tournament play :-)
