Subject: Moe and Bertholy

For those of you unfamiliar with Bertholy you might be surprised to learn that he was a very good golf pro. Good enough to attract the attention of Moe Norman. Moe reportedly visited Bertholy and got a copy of his notes ( or a copy of his book).
In the 95 tape that Moe made with Eliot ( Golfers Digest Pro) he quotes from a poem that appears in Bertholys book ( Golf Swing Construction 101) in this book the expression of taking divots that are like bacon strips not pork chops appears. Whether Moe got this expression from Bertholy of Bertholy got it from Moe is unknown.
Anyway Bertholy teaches a methodology that can be applied to any golf swing. So if any of you are still having problems learning NG you can use the time tested methods of Bertholy.
