If you go over to network54.com and Forum 72052 and go to home and click on videos you can see Dori, a NGCI instructor. You can, also, see other NGCIs that have appeared on NG commercials.

Dori is a good NG representative. Notice how she takes the club back so that just past parallel to the ground on the backswing the club is vertical, shaft pointing straight up in the air, and, then, the toe of the club is moving back over her shoulder, what I call swing back onto yourself. This is important because it sets up the butt of the club to go down. You can easily get into this position by short gripping your golf clubs, and you will see the arm and hand action. Understand that this arm and hand action doesn't start until the club clears the right hip. I think until that time the movement is primarily of the left arm.

Dori is good to watch on that video because you can see her slide to get forward. Put a straight edge on the front of her hip and you can see it slide way forward. Moe doesn't do that. The leading edge of his hip is the pivot point for rotation. This is important to understand.

The other thing that Dori does is to keep the left arm straight through and past impact instead of folding the left arm. Moe doesn't do that either. If you are going to keep that left arm extended I think it is much easier with BGG, ball back in the stance.

If you go over to network 54 you can see position 2 and 2.5 and this is very important so that you don't get the flying hinge through the impact area.

What is so confusing to people is that you had Moe and then people said they were showing you how to swing like Moe, the first NGer. However, neither version of NG shows you how to swing like Moe; neither do other versions like BGG. You watch the NG representatives on the infomercials and you wonder who is listening to who. Very confusing indeed.
