Remington,

Yes I have the Robertson Grip tapes. Scotty Robertson hits a pitching wedge 150 yds., 7 iron 200 yds. and averages over 300 yd. drives with a personnal best 420 yd. drive. On the tapes he has you practicing with a 7 iron for two weeks of cutting the grass drill, no ball.

As for my experience with the Robertson Grip I can make about a three quarter swing using the Robertson Grip although I lose about 20 yds. distance with the 7 iron. over any other method. Scotty is very vague in his instruction through E-mail, it's like pulling teeth to get any extra instruction from him. He just says follow what is on his tapes, it will come to you. Well it never came to me and I don't recommend the Robertson Grip to anyone. In fact I called his clubmaker on the phone ( his clubmaker is on his tapes giving his name), Scotty's clubmaker at the time was 75 yrs. old with a handicap of five using the conventional method not the Robertson Grip. In fact he didn't know of anyone using the Robertson Grip plus the last time he played Scotty a game of golf he said he beat Scotty not long before our phone conversation.

Don
