They have changed the swing where they want it to now be a hand and arm, hands lead, body follows, pendulum-like type swing.

That's great if you are doing Ernest Jone's old "Swing the Clubhead" method, you see, a pendulum-like swing requires freely hinging wrists to square the clubface up at the bottom of the swing arc. This is best done with a neutral Vardon finger grip, which is what Jone's taught.

A SA setup with a strong trail hand palm grip, is the antithesis of a pendulum-like swing, causing the club face to turn over and close too fast into the downswing cauing big time hooks!

Moe never did this type of swing, and still doesn't, Moe swings the club with body motion, not his hands and arms!
