You must be doing something wrong as the right forearm does not come near the grip. When you set up with the NG grip, there is a significant angle between your forearm and the line of the the club. There is supposed to be a straigth line from the left shoulder, down the left arm to the shaft. For this to happen, there must be an angle between the right arm and the club shaft.

Have you got a copy of the recent issues of the Natural Golfer or the LOBG?
