Tomas,

I'm sorry you seem to have had a bad experience. Initially we did use a harder compound which has since been rectified. As of now I don't think it is feasable to make the Big-Grip any softer than it is.

One thing I have advised students to do is to scrub the grip after installation with a scotchbrite pad or stiff brush and a strong detergent such as dish soap. This will take off any "release agent" left over from the mfg. process.

This is also not a bad idea to do from time to time. The Big-Grip will also retain this tacky characteristic when cared for in this manner.

This is, by the way not specific to the Big-Grip. As I recall the Golf Pride tour wrap was also a little slick right after installation as well. When properly cared for it also provided plenty of adhesion.

As far as our grip being a piece of ****, well we're all entitled to an opinion. There are plenty of people who really like this grip.

Thank You

Tom Sanders

P.S. If you'ld like return your sample for exchange or refund we will be most happy to accomodate you to your satisfaction. You may call my office @ 1-800-800-6116.
