If you look at a freeze frame of every golfing great at impact, everyone one of them has his hands in front of the ball and the trail wrist is still in a partially bent position.

Think about it, Moe keeps the shaft of his clubs straight up pointing to his lead shoulder at address, and the club is in almost the same position at impact with his lead wrist flat to his lead forearm, the only way he can maintain that position at impact is if his hands are foward of the ball at impact, and his trail wrist is still bent.
