Subject: Help settle these key questions....

My questions are about Moe's swing, or a swing system that would most closely mirror/mimic Moe's mechanics. Chazman seems to favor BGG. I was intrigued by the link to Jack Kuykendall's site....these are my questions: (note: I am a right-handed golfer)

1. rt hand, or trail hand, is single axis. lead arm is not. would you (anybody) advocate having the arms extended to such a point as the triceps of both arms are pretty much resting on the pectorals (chest muscles), and then bend at the waist until the clubhead is at address (just brushing the grass)?

2. my feet are about shoulder width apart with all clubs except the shortest....does anybody advocate a tangible weight shift on the backswing? a feeling of weight moving onto the rt side? recall I'm a rt handed golfer.

3. HOW DO YOU HIT THE DAMN BALL?????? should you actively use the hands to "hammer" into the ball? be passive with the hands as if they're just along for the ride? work on the lag, or putting the club into the slot position on the downswing?

4. does anybody consciously shift weight to the left or lead side on their downswing? if so, when do you do it? at the very start of the downswing?

*****overall, i hit ok but something is missing. i hit buckets of balls about 3-4 times per week and i do ok. some days better than others. when i feel as if i'm bringing the butt end of the club past the ball on the downswing thus enabling a lag, i suppose, i hit well some days and awfully on others...i asked moe at one of his clinics 5 years ago if he consciously used his hands in his swing and he said "no, it all happens too fast"...with all the conflicting info out there it would be nice to have something concrete/definitive. thanks and sorry for the wordy request.
