He didn't get a "whuppin", he was struck on the arms and legs with night sticks to keep him down and subdued exactly like those officers were taught to do! If they were capricious in their application of force they would have been hitting him on the head!

Pray tell though, exactly how would you have subdued him, especially since he threw 4 officers, who tried to hold him down, around like rag dolls, and this was after he was hit twice with 10,000 volts from a taser gun???

Would you have preferred that they roll around on the ground with him some more until he got a hold on one of their pistols and a shootout occured?

Those officers did not use any force that was excessive, King did not get one stitch, had no broken bones, or any serious injuries other then bruises!

Problem is Namby Pambies like you didn't like the way it looked, well until they come out with Star Trek Phasers set to Stun, that's all the officers there had to use, other then shooting him, would that have been ok? If you want make Mayonaise you have to break some eggs!

What happened to those officers is one of the largest miscarriages of justice in American History!

If in the future the police seem to be looking the other way when the shit hits the fan, can you blame them?
