The way I have the forum software set to work automatically, by default is that if a reply is made to an archived thread it goes to the top of the first, main forum page just like a reply to a thread on the main page does. This is the only way I know of to show all the threads, which have the newest replies, first.

Since you complained I took a look at it. The particular reply that brought the thread back from the dead was from "underpar" on 12-10-01. Since his message wasn't that noteworthy, I started to manually re-archive the thread and first deleted replies to that message that asked how it got back on top, etc. -- including your message(s). After doing the deletions, I looked in the forum software and couldn't find any place where I could manually re-archive just one thread. Sorry.

Anyway, it is moving down now, so maybe it won't be such a bother.

Wiff
