The reason that I believe that you have "right shoulder
disease" ( see Scene in Hell in the Country Where Golf is King) is that at one time you did not understand release and
so your right shoulder turned in order to try to square up the clubhead. Solution: learn to swing your arms and release. Once you learn this a whole lot of things are going to start making sense. You could try the waist to waist release drill. Learn to swing the club with the right hand and arm only ( this is the only moving part everything else is a reaction as your center of gravity moves to accomodate the motion of your arm)
Once you learn how to do this you are going to experience a shift onto your lead side and it will also "feel like" the left side is initiating the swing.
You could try narrowing your legs slightly so that the
wieight shifts more easily. So take the club back and in and
get your bands as close to your rear shoulder as you can, then just release. This should clear up that shoulder problem.
For more drills see golfisking.com and then link up to
my instructional site for more drills.
