Of course the clubhead eventually has to come inside
as the club is attatched to your arms, which in turn are
attatched to your shoulders. But that doesn't mean you can't
swing it on a Path that goes about 10 degrees to the right
of the target.
It is easy to refute Jack's assertion that his swing
is the best. All you have to do is do it. If you are an
NGer, narrow your stance to shoulder width apart, bend your
lead arm as you take the club back and get your hands as
close to your rear shoulder as you can, and then initiate
the swing the same way Moe does, backward. You take the
club back down, out ( to the fight slightly) amd up.
The squat or sit down movement of Moe is a reaction to
his attack on the ball and not a separate movement that must
be timed with the arm swing ( like it says in LOBg)
When you do this, you will be able to see that the CG
swing and the NG swing is superior. Why argue about something that can be easily verified by experimentation.
We tend to listen to authorities on golf as oppossed to
scientists who have actually tested their assertions.
from a scientific viewpoint many statements by
"experts" are either misleading or out and out incorrect.
