I got a mixed bag of shafts. Driver is light weight steel shaft. The woods are a mix of steel and graphite shafts. The irons are steel shafts. The wedges are rifle steel shafted as well (TaylorMade). Pesonally I don't think there is too much to choose from. Personally I like steel better because of its greater inherent resistance to torque. Some folks claim that graphite is better for distance. However I have an Orlimar 14 degree steel shafted metal wood as well as a graphite 13 degree Cleveland QuadPro. I do as well with the Orlimar metal wood as with the Cleveland QuadPro from a distance point of view. If I factor in the accuracy component, than I would have to say that the Orlimar steel shaft metal wood is the better choice at least for me. Persnally I think there is an awful lot of hype out there so buyer beware!
