She kept me in school uniform gingham dresses, and grey pinafores. I also wore little plaid skirts as casual wear. Mummy was very strict in this regard. She kept me even at school in as close to petticoating as she could get away with. I was sent to school in very tiny grey shorts, long grey pelerine socks and black Mary Jane sandals.
