 Does anyone know how many Open Competitions are left. Birmingham/Cahaba Valley/Hidden River will be November 6. With so many candidates in UA/AU/Troy will there be enough opportunities for those left?

No there will not be enough opportunities which is why I said only around five will probably get a chance at Miss Alabama (of those competing in UA). I advise girls to never wait for their university pageant and go ahead and claim a prelim ASAP.

There are never enough prelims left if every girl from the university pageants all want a ticket to Miss Alabama But with a year end pageant in late February plus the remaining local’s there are multiple chances remaining.

I have some prospective names of future preliminary pageants. Miss Kudzu, Miss Prichard, Miss Heart of Dixie, Miss UA (2), Miss Gone With The Wind, Miss Sassy, Miss You Much, Miss Gardenia, Miss Cotton, Miss Scarlet, Miss Southern Heritage, Miss Drum Stick, Miss Uncovered Bridge,Miss Gulf Shores, Miss Vulcan, Miss Alabama State, Miss Alabama A&M,Miss Yellow Hammer, Miss Ivory, Miss Ebony,Miss Montgomery,Miss Huntsville,Miss Gadsden, Miss Opp, Miss Pineapple, Miss Auburn, Miss Crimson (2). Btw what ever happened to Miss Birmingham Southern?
