Subject: Today is June 30th...
One day before "Moving Day," and the general consensus (with one dissenter) is that we're headed over to BasketballBoards.net *officially* tomorrow. If you've got any unresolved issues or conflicts, please, PLEASE share them now (Matt-11, care to elaborate on why you voted no?). Carry on...

A couple questions -- Dane Pound, 12:50:52 06/30/03 Mon
I realize I'm getting in on this a little late. A couple of questions for BigE and Hollis. For the most part these boards are run by fans, are you guys employees of Basketballboards.net? Also, on the boards there are members and something called supporting members. To become a supporting member requires a donation to basketballboards.net. Will there come a day when regular members are required to make a donation?

can't speak for Hollis but I haven't any affiliation with the forum. No one has to be a supporting member. The benefits gained from that level of membership is to have assess to some online games as well as a personalized college avatar.

I would suggest to keep this forum as a back-up (if you can). The other forum is nice, but I have an uneasy feeling that they will make it a paid site eventually. Just my 2 cents....

Basketballboards will NEVER be a pay site...only those who wish to contribute money will have to pay...I can assure you of that. And I'm not an "employee" of the site, just a Mod that helps out for free....;)
