I disagree on a few points.Parker doesn't look to shoot. His biggest fault is actually his unselfishness.Coach Harrison was trying to force him to shoot more as he is the best on the team at creating his own shot. You are correct in that Cook likes to shoot. That is what he is here for.If you watched Hartford this past year we were quite offensively challenged if we were not on the run.In halfcourt sets Cook and Parker were the only 2 on the court that could create any shots.I wouldn't consider Ford selfish. He took some shots but certainly not too many.Towards the end of his freshman year they would run set plays for him to take his man to the whole in a one-on-one situation.Obviously there was some situations there that precipitated his leaving last year.Hopefully he grew up and learned his lesson. His walking on should help solidify his willingness to work with the team.

Regarding being thin up front...at this point I have to agree.Other than Parker we have quite a few questions and unproven players:

Bosley...tough but can't avoid injuries.
Goode...I think he steps up...if he WANTS it..and needs to avoid foul trouble.
Lang...Has a great shot...needs to get tougher.
Lowndes..the players think he'll be terrific.
Regan..walk-on for 2 years..earns scholy this year..gets what he can from his ability and hard work.
Taylor..freshman..who knows
Parker..he obviously will be the constant in the frontcourt.
Possibly signing 1 more player in the frontcourt.

Regarding Stys..The fans love him.The problem is he might have the best shot on the team(though he can't create it).He is solid at the PG slot but doesn't penetrate and dish which Ford did effortlessly.Stys asst/turnover ratio is great but much of that is because he takes no chances.Again that being said Hartford fans love having him on the team.

The biggest loss by far will be Pierre Johnson.Odugbela's,Amous's and Mcclinton's stats should be replaceable.
