Subject: Bu has two scholarships to give
The kid Tony Gaffney is a midget. Bu would be better off giving his scholarship to Brett Gladstone. The kid Dion Deacons is a nice player he would be tabbed to win the league's rookie of the year next season if he winds up on Commonwealth Avenue. Deacons I thought committed to Davidson early though? Northeastern's hoop club will have incredible depth next season if Mike Vaz and Bobby Kelley come over from the football team to join what all ready will be the league's deepest club. Also, Brian Roberts a 6-5 swingman from the Master's School in West Simsbury, Connecticut is coming to NU on an academic scholarship. Mike Vaz and Cori Boston may give the Huskies bonofided athleticism.

He's listed at 6'6 or 6'7. That's a midget?

Did Kelley sign with NU football?

Not according to any information I've seen coming out of Northeastern. He's not listed on gonu.com as a football recruit, nor is Mike Vaz, for that matter.

6'6/6'7 small forward from Somerset High School in southeastern Massachusetts, led his team to the EMass Division 2 Championship game, where they lost to Charlestown. I haven't seen him play, but he had a big senior year and is considered one of the top prospects in Mass.

Yes, Gaffney is going to prep school. Northfield Mt-Hermon will more than likely be the destination.

>Gaffney is too weak to play DI basketball now! Dacons is far from a lock to win AE ROY. He is an undersized 4. If he was that good he'd have more interest especially coming from Oak Hill. He is a 6'5 PF. Would be a nice addition but he's no Rashad Bell!

"Gaffney is too weak to play DI basketball now!"
I agree. That's probably why he's headed to prep school- to use the year to develop physically.
