Subject: Correction on Kevin Green

I just saw a post about Kevin Green committing to Stony Brook. I know for a fact that is not true because Kevin Green was at my tournament with his Philly Lutheran team and I asked Coach Schofield of Philly Lutheran on Saturday night April 5, 2003, what was going on with KG and he told me he was wide open. He had been offered by Hartford, Stony Brook and Howard but, wanted at least an Atlantic 10 or Big East offer. Coach Scho told me he expects KG to sign with a quality high major program since Green is a big time scorer and shooter and numerous services rate him as a high major. If this kid somehow winds up in the America East watch out he will win the rookie of the year award. Gerry Cochran was also at my tournament this past weekend. He was one of the best players there. He will not honor his national letter of intent to BU and will prep next year at Worcester Academy and more than likely committ to UCONN and Jim Calhoun.
Coc's old man as we all know by now played for Jimbo at Northeastern. Interesting new NCAA rule where kids 17 and under can play AAU basketball after signing a letter of intent but once they turn 18 years old and sign they are ineligible to play AAU. This will hurt my tournament in years to come as I took pleasure in showing off the best senior signed talent in New England year and year out.

Him and every other high school player out there wants "at least" a Big East offer.
